Mailbreak

Plan your inbox escape.

A Chrome extension that actually unsubscribes you from Gmail mailing lists. Not filters. Not hiding. The real thing.

Install on Chrome → Coming to the Chrome Web Store. Pending review.

Real unsubscribes

Mailbreak parses the List-Unsubscribe header every commercial mailing list is required to send, and uses it the way it was designed: RFC 8058 POST, mailto, or HTTPS link. The sender actually stops emailing you.

Local-first privacy

Your email content never leaves your device. The Gmail API request only fetches headers — message bodies aren't even read during the scan. No Mailbreak server sees your email.

Honest fallbacks

When a sender exposes no real unsubscribe option, Mailbreak applies a Gmail filter and labels it as filter-only — so you know the unsubscribe didn't actually happen. Unlike some other tools.
